Commuting
The commuting options from the Arlington Ridge neighborhood are endless. With easy access to I-395, RT 50, Washington Boulevard, Pentagon City Metro stop and the high speed bus, you can get to Washington DC, the Pentagon and many other locations with ease. For the road warrior or ease of getting off on vacation, DCA Reagan National Airport is less than 10 minutes away.
Neighborhood Schools
The Arlington Ridge neighborhood schools are
Oakridge Elementary,
Gunston Middle School and
Wakefield High School. But these are not the only public schools available to this neighborhood, Arlington County Public Schools (APS) offer many different “Choice Schools”. Using the neighborhood school as a base, there are different choice schools that you can opt to send your child. Once you tour one of the choice schools, you will find out what the process is for application to the school. Some of the choice schools have a lottery and some do not.
